Mekong Adventures offers private and photo-friendly tours in Saigon and the Mekong Delta. Our main products include hidden local life tours, one-day cycling tours, overnight homestay cycling trips and multi-day cycling journeys into the deeper Mekong region.

Our tours are designed mainly as private tours for solo travelers, couples, families and small groups. This allows us to adjust the pace, route, photo stops, meal timing and cycling distance based on your comfort.

We focus on small roads, local neighborhoods, quiet canals, everyday life and natural photo moments rather than rushing between crowded attractions. The experience is slower, more personal and more connected to real Southern Vietnam.

Our tours are best for travelers who enjoy local culture, photography, gentle outdoor activities, food, cycling, river life and meaningful discovery. They are especially suitable for guests who prefer authentic places over crowded tourist routes.

No. Most cycling routes are easy to moderate and can be adjusted. You should be comfortable riding a bicycle on small local roads, but you do not need to be a professional cyclist.

Yes. The Saigon Hidden Local Life Tour is a private car and walking tour, not a cycling tour. For Mekong tours, we can also adjust the program with more private vehicle support and fewer cycling sections if needed.

We prioritize small village roads, canal-side paths, quiet lanes, countryside roads and local routes with less traffic. Some sections may include narrow bridges, local ferries or uneven rural surfaces, depending on the area.

The cycling distance depends on the tour, weather, road conditions and your comfort. One-day tours are usually gentle, while multi-day tours include longer but flexible sections. The guide can adjust the ride if you need more rest.

For most private cycling tours, a support vehicle is available for main transfer sections. On some small village roads or island paths, the vehicle may not follow directly, but it will support the journey at planned meeting points.

Yes. Bicycle rental and helmet are included in our cycling tours. We recommend wearing the helmet throughout all cycling sections for safety.

Children can join if they are comfortable cycling and the route is suitable for their age and ability. For families, we recommend discussing the children’s height, cycling confidence and previous experience before booking.

Wear comfortable light clothing, sports shoes or closed walking shoes, sunglasses and sun protection. Avoid heavy clothing. For multi-day tours, bring a small day bag and clothes suitable for warm tropical weather.

If you want city culture, choose the Saigon Hidden Local Life Tour. If you want countryside, cycling and canals, choose the Ben Tre Mekong Cycling Day Tour. Both are private, flexible and suitable for travelers with limited time.

The Ben Tre Mekong Cycling Day Tour is a good first experience because it is not too long and shows coconut gardens, canals, village roads and local life. If you have more time, the 2-day Vinh Long Homestay tour gives a deeper feeling.

The Vinh Long homestay tour allows you to slow down and experience the Mekong after day visitors leave. You can enjoy local meals, quiet evening atmosphere, island paths and a more personal connection with countryside life.

No. The Ben Tre Mekong Cycling Day Tour does not include a floating market. This tour focuses on coconut villages, small roads, canals, local homes, family businesses and gentle countryside cycling.

The Mekong Cycling 3 Days Vinh Long And Can Tho tour includes Can Tho, and the Mekong Deep South Cycling Adventure also includes Can Tho. These tours are better choices if you want to experience river culture in Can Tho.

The Mekong Deep South Cycling Adventure includes a floating market experience, subject to local conditions. The visit usually starts early in the morning because river trade is most active before the day becomes hot.

The 3-day tour focuses on Vinh Long and Can Tho, giving a balanced experience of island life and river culture. The 5-day tour goes deeper, adding Long Xuyen and Chau Doc for a broader view of the Mekong’s deep south region.

Yes. All tours are designed with frequent photo stops. We stop for small roads, canals, markets, local homes, gardens, bridges, boats, food scenes and natural everyday moments.

Yes. Since our tours are private, we can adjust the pace, cycling distance, starting time, meal style, photo focus and some route details depending on your interests and local conditions.

Yes. Prices are normally listed per person and depend on group size. Solo travelers usually pay more because private vehicle, guide and operating costs are not shared with other guests.

For small groups, fixed costs such as guide, private vehicle and logistics can be shared among more travelers. This allows us to offer a lower per-person price for groups of three or more.

Last-minute bookings may be possible, especially for one-day tours. However, we recommend booking early for multi-day cycling tours because bikes, accommodation, guide availability and local arrangements need time to prepare properly.

Yes. We can design private tours for families, friends, small corporate groups and incentive travelers. For larger groups, we may adjust the route, support team, bike logistics and meal arrangements.

Light rain is common in Southern Vietnam and may not stop the tour. If the weather becomes unsafe or uncomfortable, the guide can adjust the schedule, shorten cycling sections, use the support vehicle or change the order of activities.

Meals are included as mentioned in each tour itinerary. One-day tours usually include lunch, while multi-day tours include selected meals depending on the program. Please inform us in advance about vegetarian meals or food restrictions.

A Mekong homestay is simple, local and peaceful. It is not a luxury hotel, but it offers a closer feeling of countryside life, family-style meals, garden surroundings and a slower evening atmosphere.

Travel insurance is not usually included in the tour price, but we strongly recommend having your own insurance before joining any cycling or outdoor travel experience. It gives you better protection for medical, travel and personal situations.
