Our story
Founded On The Road By A Local Guide
Mekong Adventures was founded by Ryan Truong Van Hoang, who started out as an inbound tour guide and opened his own travel business in 2013. Years of guiding taught him what travellers remember most: not the famous sights, but a family meal, a ferry crossing at sunset, a conversation by the road.
Every trip we design follows that lesson. We know the small roads because we travel them, and we know the families you will meet because they are our neighbours and partners.
