Itinerary

  1. Morning Mekong Waterways & Village Cycling

    Depart Saigon at 8:00 AM and travel south to My Tho before crossing into Ben Tre, the heart of the Mekong’s coconut country. Take a local boat from the busy river into quieter waterways, passing riverside communities and traditional workshops. Visit a brick kiln and discover how local families make products from coconuts. Continue to a village where the cycling journey begins. Ride along small roads through coconut groves, farms and peaceful neighborhoods, stopping to observe daily life and meet local people along the way. Finish the morning with a Vietnamese lunch in the countryside.

  2. Afternoon Coconut Country & Sampan Experience

    After lunch, continue exploring Ben Tre at a slower pace. Walk through coconut gardens and tropical orchards, following narrow paths between local homes and farms. Visit a village family and learn about traditional sedge-mat weaving before reaching the waterways again. Board a traditional wooden sampan and travel quietly through narrow canals shaded by water-coconut palms, experiencing one of the Mekong Delta’s most distinctive landscapes. Rejoin the main boat and return to the Ben Tre landing. Meet the vehicle for the journey back to Saigon, arriving at your hotel at approximately 5:00 PM.
