Dolphin Halong Dinner Cruise: Ha Long City by Night

Every part can be changed to suit your group.

1. 17:45 – 18:45 Check-In and Departure

   Your evening starts at Halong International Cruise Port, where you check in at the Legacy Voyages Vietnam Lounge from 5:45 pm. At around 6:30 pm, you board the ship and receive a welcome drink, along with a short safety briefing and an overview of the evening. As the ship leaves the harbour, head out on deck to watch the shore lights begin to come on across Ha Long city. Feel the cool sea breeze on your face and enjoy the view as the skyline gradually spreads out behind you. It is a very different side of the bay from the one that daytime visitors see.

   
2. 18:45 – 20:00 Dinner on Board

   As the ship sails on and then settles at anchor, dinner is served. Larger sailings of 50 guests or more enjoy a buffet, while smaller groups are served a set menu. Either way, you can expect a mix of Asian and European dishes, with some Vietnamese specialities. Tables sit beside tall windows, so you can look out at the lights while you eat. Drinks other than your welcome drink are not included, but you can order them on board. If you have any dietary needs, it is best to mention them when you book, so that we can pass them on to the cruise team.

   
3. 20:00 – 21:15 Music and Time on Deck

   After dinner, the rest of the evening is yours. Listen to live music, take a stroll on the open decks or try the four-season pool and jacuzzi, which are included in your cruise. Bring a jacket on cooler nights, as it can get windy on the upper decks, especially in winter. At this hour the bay is calm and quiet, and the lights of the city and its bridge reflect beautifully on the water. It is a lovely moment for photographs, or simply for sitting back with a drink and enjoying the sea air before the ship turns for home.

   
4. 21:15 – 21:30 Return to Port

   The ship arrives back at Halong International Cruise Port at around 9:15 pm, and you disembark by about 9:30 pm. If you are staying in Ha Long city, your hotel is usually a short drive from the port, which makes this an easy way to end the day.
