You kayak past limestone cliffs, visit a floating fishing village, and spend the night anchored at Cong Do under open sky. Day 1 Hanoi to Bai Tu Long Bay
Your guide collects you from your Hanoi hotel between 8:00 and 8:15 for the drive to Bai Chay, the gateway to Bai Tu Long Bay. Once aboard, you cruise past karst towers and quiet coves before reaching Vung Vieng, a fishing village built entirely on the water. Here you can take out a kayak and paddle for one to two hours among the limestone cliffs. As the afternoon light softens, the boat continues to Cong Do, where you spend the night at anchor. Dinner is served on deck, cooked by the onboard chef, with nothing but the sound of water against the hull.

Day 2 Thien Canh Son Cave and Return to Hanoi
Wake to the views of Bai Tu Long Bay and join an optional Tai Chi lesson on deck before breakfast. The boat then sails toward Thien Canh Son Cave, reached by a roughly one-hour hike up the mountainside, with views back over the bay from the top. Afterwards you return to the boat and sail back toward the harbour by a different route than the one you came, giving a fresh perspective on the bay. Once docked at Bai Chay, you transfer by road to Hanoi, arriving at your hotel by around 4 p.m.
